Banana Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. sliced bananas
    1 1/2 c. orange juice
    4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    6 c. sugar
    3/4 c. lemon juice
    1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in large kettle.
    Cook over moderate heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
    Boil rapidly for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat; simmer, stirring constantly, for about 20 minutes or until thick.
    Remove from heat and ladle into sterilized glasses or jars immediately.
    Cap tightly; invert for a moment.
    Process in water bath for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Makes about 6 pints.
