Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour and sugar mixture.
    Add buttermilk. Stir just until dough clings together.
    Turn out on floured surface.
    Knead a few times.
    Roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 15 to 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Yields 10 biscuits.
