Ingredients

1 (4 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 eggs
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract (optional)
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat; set aside.
Beat eggs; gradually add sugar until thick.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt and add to egg mixture.
Stir in melted chocolate, extracts and nuts.
Pour 1/2 batter into a greased 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
