Chocolate Butter Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. butter
1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar, sifted 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 c.
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add about half the powdered sugar, beating well.
Beat in the milk and vanilla.
Gradually add the remaining powdered sugar, beating constantly.
Beat in additional milk if necessary, to make frosting spread consistency.
Add the two 1 ounce squares of unsweetened chocolate. Melt in a saucepan and then cool.
Stir in 1/4 cup finely chopped nuts (if desired).
Frost cake.
