Golden Carrot Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. scraped carrots, sliced thin
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    1 medium bell pepper, sliced thin
    1 can condensed tomato soup
    1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
    1 tsp. dry or jar mustard
Preparation
    Cook carrots in salt water until done (about 10 minutes). Drain and let cool.
    Put carrots, onion and bell pepper in a 1 1/2-quart glass or plastic bowl.
    Mix sugar, vinegar, oil and mustard together.
    Pour over carrots, onion and pepper.
    Add tomato soup for thicker and tangier taste.
    Cover and let stand in refrigerator for several hours before serving.
    Will keep good in refrigerator for several days.
    Good with meats.
