Hot Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 gal. vinegar
1/2 gal. water
1 Tbsp. alum
1 Tbsp. turmeric
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 lb. sugar

Preparation

Sweeten to taste. Heat and pour over peppers packed in jars.
