Pizzaburgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground sausage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    salt
    dash of garlic salt
    grated Mozzarella, Provolone, Parmesan or Cheddar cheese for topping
    8 whole hamburger buns
Preparation
    Brown sausage, drain off grease.
    Add beef and finish browning with onion; drain again.
    Add tomato sauce and seasonings to saucepan and simmer 15 minutes.
    Toast tops of split buns under broiler.
    Place hot meat mixture on split sides of buns, to the edge.
    Top with grated cheese and place under broiler until cheese melts.
    Serve immediately, open-faced.
    Makes 8 servings.
