Hippopotamus Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 hippopotamus
35 gal. water
salt and pepper to taste
2 rabbits (optional)
Preparation

Cut hippo into bite size pieces.
This usually takes 3 to 4 minutes.
Using a kerosene burner and a very large vat, begin simmering meat, water, salt and pepper.
This recipe should feed about 2,500 people.
If more are expected, the rabbits may be added.
However, try to avoid doing so, as most people do not like hare in their chowder.
