Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix, bake as directed on box (sheet cake)
2 large boxes instant vanilla pudding, mix as directed
2 cartons Cool Whip (large)
2 large cans cherry pie filling
2 large cans crushed pineapple
2 (16 oz.) cans fruit cocktail
2 cans coconut
2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Using a large punch bowl, divide cake in half and crumble each half.
Pack half of crumbled cake in bottom of bowl in order.
Use half of each ingredient in layers.
Pudding, coconut, pineapple, cocktail, cherries, Cool Whip; top with pecans, layer again starting with cake first then in order as first.
Refrigerate. Best if leftover night before serving.
