Creamy Microwave Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    2 c. mini marshmallows
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Grease an 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
    Mix sugar, milk, butter and salt in a 3-quart microwave bowl.
    Cover loosely with wax paper and microwave on High 4 minutes or until mixture begins to boil.
    Uncover and microwave on High 10 minutes longer, stirring every 3 minutes.
    Continue to microwave 8 minutes longer, stirring every 2 minutes, until mixture thickens slightly and rises less when stirred.
    Stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips and vanilla, stirring until marshmallows and chocolate chips are melted.
    Add nuts, stirring vigorously, until mixture is creamy and slightly glossy.
    Spread in prepared pan.
    Refrigerate 2 hours. Cut into bite-size pieces.
