Waldorf Red Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. cocoa
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Make paste of food coloring, vanilla and cocoa; add to creamed mixture.
    Add alternately the cake flour and buttermilk.
    Fold in baking soda mixed with vinegar.
    Bake in two 9-inch cake pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
