Apple Cider Pound Cake With Caramel Glaze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. real butter (not margarine)
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1 c. apple cider
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Soften the butter.
    Add the oil and then add the sugar, stirring well (10 minutes with mixer on medium).
    Add the eggs one at a time, beating in between.
    Add the other ingredients and beat well.
    Pour in a pan (this cake is too large for a Bundt pan) and bake at 325\u00b0 for 90 minutes.
    Drizzle with glaze while the cake is still warm.
