Granny'S Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large cans cream
    6 large cans water
    1/2 gal. milk
    16 eggs
    6 c. white sugar
    3 or 4 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring to boil first 3 ingredients, then beat eggs and sugar well.
    Add this to boiling mixture, stirring constantly.
    Stir until thickened.
    Add vanilla after cooling.
    Makes 2 gallons.
