Pecan Logs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/3 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. softened butter
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and 1/3 cup powdered sugar.
    In mixing bowl add
    shortening,
    butter,
    vanilla and milk;
    beat well. Stir
    in nuts.
    Chill dough until firm.
    Shape into logs about 2 inches long.
    Place in ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes until light brown.
    While warm, roll in 1 cup sifted powdered sugar.
    Makes 4 dozen.
