Spiced Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar (scant)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    5 Tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Bring to boil and boil for 2 minutes; add 3 to 4 cups walnut meats and boil another 2 minutes, stirring constantly to keep from scorching.
    Remove from fire and stir until it gets sugary. Quickly pour on wax paper; spread evenly and then break apart with a fork.
    When cool, store in airtight container.
