Hearty Chicken Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 small chicken or 1 1/2 c. cooked chicken, cut in pieces
    1 carrot
    3 stalks celery
    1 small onion
    1 tsp. chopped garlic
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 1/2 tsp. Old Bay spices
    1 tsp. salt or to taste
    1 c. dry egg noodles
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except egg noodles into a large pot. Cover with water.
    Bring to a slow simmer, then cover.
    Simmer for about 1 hour or until chicken is cooked (if you used raw chicken). Then add egg noodles and 3/4 cup water.
    Cook until noodles are done.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 4 large bowls of soup.
