Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. Wesson oil
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vinegar
    2 oz. red food coloring
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oil well.
    Add eggs, beating well after each. Add vinegar and food color; beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with buttermilk and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Pour into well-greased cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Makes 3 or 4 layers.
