Ingredients

2 sticks margarine or butter, softened
3 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
6 eggs, beaten
1 to 1 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
2 unbaked pie shells
Preparation

Melt margarine; add flour and sugar and mix well.
Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.
Pour into two unbaked pie shells.
Top each pie with chopped pecans.
Bake for 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Turn oven down to 300\u00b0 and bake for an additional 45 minutes or until center of pie is set.
