Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. bran cereal (All-Bran or any 100% bran)
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar (more if you like a sweeter taste)
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup All-Bran with boiling water.
    Cool.
    Add oil. Sift dry ingredients together.
    Combine eggs and buttermilk.
    Add to dry ingredients together.
    Stir in 2 remaining cups of bran and the first bran mixture.
    Pour into greased muffin tins.
    Bake 18 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Makes 24.
