Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 large pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    9 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cakes in 2 (8-inch) round pans.
    Let cool.
    Slit into 4 layers (use string).
    Add 2 cups boiling water to jello.
    Add 10 ounces strawberries.
    Add 3/4 cup cold water. Chill until syrupy. Make pudding (as directed).
    Using round punch bowl, put 1 layer cake, jello, cake, pudding, strawberries, jello.
    Chill overnight. Add Cool Whip as served.
