Grandma'S Cherry Spice Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
5 Tbsp. warm water
1 c. sour pie cherries, drained
Preparation

Cream together the sugar and Crisco.
Add eggs.
Add the dry ingredients alternately with the water.
Fold in cherries.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes, or until done.
