Yankee Doodle Apple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cake flour
    3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of nutmeg
    dash of cinnamon
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. tart chopped apples
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients.
    Stir in unbeaten egg and vanilla. Fold in apples and nuts.
    Turn into well-greased 8-inch pie pan. (Batter will be very stiff.)
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until brown and crusty.
