Dilled Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fresh okra
    dill seed
    hot pepper
    garlic cloves
    1 qt. white vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. pure salt
Preparation
    Put 1/2 teaspoon dill seed in bottom of each quart jar.
    Pack washed fresh okra as tightly as possible in each jar, being careful not to bruise.
    Add 1 or 2 pods red and green hot pepper and one or more garlic cloves to each jar.
    Boil vinegar, water and salt.
    Cover okra with mixture.
    Seal.
    Ready to eat in 4 to 6 weeks.
