King Ranch Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large fryer, stewed, boned and cut into bite size pieces
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. chicken stock
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
garlic to taste
1 (10 1/2 oz.) cream of chicken soup
1 (10 1/2 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. picante sauce or 1 small can Ro-Tel tomatoes, crushed
1 pkg. tortilla chips
Preparation

Combine chicken, onion and green peppers.
Layer tortilla chips, chicken mixture and cheese.
Mix chili powder, garlic, soups, picante sauce and chicken stock together.
Pour over layers.
Top with grated cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
Serves 8 to 10.
