Sweet Potatoes And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium sweet potatoes
    3/4 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 medium apples
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. warm water
Preparation
    Cook potatoes until just tender; cool, peel and cut into 1-inch thick slices.
    Pare and core apples; slice into 1/2-inch rings.
    Mix sugar, salt and cinnamon.
    Arrange potatoes and apples in alternate layers in greased baking dish.
    Sprinkle part of the sugar-cinnamon mixture and lemon juice over each layer.
    Dot with butter.
    Add water.
    Cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes. Remove cover; cook for about 10 minutes.
