Iced Tea Syrup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. sugar
6 c. water
25 tea bags or 3/4 c. loose tea
Preparation

In a large saucepan, mix sugar and water and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes and remove from heat. Add tea bags or loose tea. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and let tea steep overnight or until syrup is cold. Pour through a fine strainer and store in refrigerator. Makes about 2 quarts.
