Fly Off The Plate Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast, soaked in 1/2 c. lukewarm water
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    2 c. hot water
Preparation
    At the same time that yeast is soaking, put the following into a large bowl:
    flour, salt, sugar, shortening and hot water.
    Beat these together and let set until cooled to lukewarm.
    Add yeast and flour to make stiff dough (about 7 cups).
    Turn out and knead until smooth.
    Let rise until double in bulk.
    Punch down and make into roll or loaf.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes for rolls or 50 minutes for loaf.
