Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 round steak
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    2 cloves garlic, crushed (optional)
    1 can beef broth
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 green peppers, cut in strips
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water and soy sauce
    2 large tomatoes, cut up
    1 c. mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Cut steaks in strips and sprinkle with paprika; let stand. Then brown meat in large skillet with onions and butter.
    Add garlic and broth and simmer 30 minutes.
    Stir in green peppers and cover.
    Add mushrooms and cook 5 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce.
    Stir into meat mixture.
    Stir until thick and clear.
    Add tomatoes and cook 2 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
