German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 medium sized potatoes
    2 medium onions
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/2 c. vinegar
    4 rounding Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. sweet or sour cream
    2 level Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets in 1 tablespoon salt. When cooked, peel and dice.
    Add chopped onion and mix with sauce made in the following manner:
    Cut bacon in small pieces and fry.
    Add flour, sugar, butter, salt, pepper, vinegar and water. Bring to a boil, it will thicken.
    Remove from heat.
    Add cream and mix with potatoes.
    Serves 10.
