Elvis Presley Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box Duncan Hines Butter Recipe cake mix
1 stick butter
2/3 c. water
3 eggs
16 oz. or larger can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 box confectioners sugar
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans
Preparation

Bake cake as directed.
Pour into greased and floured sheet cake pan (9 x 13-inch).
Poke holes in cake while hot.
Bring the pineapple (with juice) and 1 cup sugar to a rapid boil.
Let this mixture cool awhile as you are \"rocking and rollin\" while cleaning your work area.
When mixture is cool, pour over cake.
Let this cool completely before icing.
Mix the confectioners sugar, butter, cream cheese, vanilla and pecans and spread on cake.
