Ingredients

1 c. dried apricot halves
1 lemon, cut in thin slices
2 c. canned applesauce
water as needed
Preparation

In a saucepan, combine apricots and lemon slices.
Add water to cover.
Bring to a boil.
Lower heat; cover and simmer until apricots are tender.
Add more water, if necessary, to prevent sticking.
Add applesauce and blend well.
Add sugar to taste. Reheat until mixture starts to bubble.
Serve hot.
Makes 3 cups. Very good served with Country Ribs With Sauerkraut.
