Pineapple Buttermilk Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (20 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar
    6 oz. pineapple liqueur (optional)
    2 qt. buttermilk (fill freezer to 1 inch from top)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and freeze.
    Makes 1 1/2 gallons.
    For smaller freezer, cut down on pineapple, sugar and buttermilk.
