Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 slightly beaten egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. shredded coconut
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine sugar, flour and salt.
    Gradually stir in milk.
    Let come to boil.
    Cook 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add small amount of mixture into egg yolks.
    Return to saucepan.
    Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Add 1 1/2 cups shredded coconut.
    Pour mixture into baked pie shell.
    Add 1/2 cup coconut to meringue.
    (I use Cool Whip instead of meringue.)
    Pour meringue mixture on top of pie.
