Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. water or broth
    3 1/2 or 4 c. diced chicken
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/4 c. chives
    1/4 c. celery, diced, or celery seed
    1 c. sour cream
    3/4 tsp. salt (omit if broth is salty)
    1 can mushroom soup
Preparation
    Place dressing
    on
    bottom
    of
    12 x 8-inch dish.
    Melt butter or
    margarine
    in
    water
    or broth.
    Mix diced chicken, onion, chives,
    celery
    (or
    celery seed to taste), sour cream and salt. Spread
    in
    dish
    over herb dressing and cover with remaining stuffing and store in refrigerator.
    One hour before baking, cover with
    a can of mushroom soup.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 10 minutes longer.
