Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
4 green peppers, cut in strips
2 onions, sliced thin
4 ripe tomatoes, quartered
8 frankfurters, cut in 1-inch pieces
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. aromatic bitters
Preparation

Cook onions and peppers in butter in iron skillet until transparent. Add franks, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cover skillet and simmer for 20 minutes. Add salt, pepper and bitters. Serve hot over
rice or spaghetti.
