Family Picnic Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks margarine or butter
1 c. water
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Preparation

Combine the first 3 ingredients in saucepan.
Bring to a boil. Cook slightly.
Sift sugar, flour and salt into large bowl.
Pour cocoa mixture over it; mix well.
Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
Pour into greased jelly roll pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for approximately 20 minutes.
Pour icing, while warm, over it.
