Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box cake mix
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 Cool Whip (large)
    1 box instant vanilla pudding (large)
    1 can pie cherries
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cook cake as directed on box.
    Crumble one layer and place in bottom of bowl.
    Fix pudding as directed and place half on top of the cake, then half of the cherries, half of the Cool Whip and some nuts, if you want.
    Repeat and add cherries to Cool Whip.
    This wil make a salad bowl.
    If you want to use a punch bowl, increase ingredients (double).
    It is better if you make it the day before you serve it.
