Crystallized Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
apples, peeled, halved and cored
Preparation

Make a syrup of sugar, water and lemon juice.
Bring to a boil.
Add peeled, halved and cored apples to syrup and cook until just tender.
Dip out and put on plate.
You can color them red or green.
Be sure to add coloring, one drop at a time, before adding apples.
You can serve them around the edge of a plate of cold turkey, alternating red and green ones.
