Pork Chop Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    4 to 6 potatoes, pared and quartered
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    4 to 6 pork chops
    dash of pepper
    3/4 c. water
    4 to 6 medium carrots, pared and cut up
Preparation
    Heat shortening in a large skillet or electric frypan.
    Brown pork chops on both sides.
    Season with salt and pepper and add bouillon cube, dissolved in water.
    Place vegetables on top of chops.
    Cover tightly, reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
