Potatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 oz. hash browns, thawed
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 stick butter (1/2 c.; can melt)
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Mix everything together but the potatoes, then pour over the potatoes.
    Top with 2 cups corn flakes or Chex, crushed and 1/4 to 1/2 cup butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes in a 4-quart casserole.
