Shrimp Clam Sauce With Linguini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. sliced green onion
    1 small clove garlic, crushed
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
    2 cans (6 1/2 oz. each) canned clams
    1/3 c. water
    1/4 c. dry white wine
    1/3 c. chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. medium-size shrimp
    hot cooked linguini
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add onions and garlic and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes.
    Stir in flour and mustard.
    Add liquid from clams, water, wine, parsley, basil, and salt.
    Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in clams and shrimp; heat to serving temperature.
    Serve over linguini.
    Makes 4 servings.
