7-Up Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    5 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. lemon flavor
    1 tsp. vanilla
    7-Up
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add one egg at a time, beating well after each.
    Add flour and 7-Up alternately.
    Add flavorings and mix well.
    Bake in tube pan, greased and floured well, in preheated oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or more, until cake springs back when pressed lightly with finger.
