Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter, softened
5 or 6 c. flour
6 oz. confectioners sugar
4 oz. cornstarch
Preparation

Beat butter until it appears whipped looking.
Mix in flour, 1 cup at a time.
Mix in confectioners sugar and cornstarch.
Press into a 13 x 9-inch pan until even.
Poke with fork every inch in rows.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour, until golden brown.
When cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Cut in squares.
