Tzimmes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 carrots
2 sweet potatoes
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. pitted prunes
3 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
-
Peel and cut vegetables into chunks and cook in water covered with salt until almost done.
Add prunes through lemon juice covering until cooked.
Combine the last two ingredients and stir into the vegetable liquid to thicken.
Serves 6.
