Company Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 or 6 lb.) pot roast
    flour, salt, pepper, garlic salt and thyme
    3/4 to 1 c. bread crumbs
    1 rib celery, quartered
    2 cloves
    1 bay leaf, dried or fresh parsley
    1 medium jar jumbo olives
    1 pkg. whole carrots, baby ones or 1 pkg. large carrots, cut in big pieces
    1 pkg. fresh jumbo mushrooms
    2 c. red wine
Preparation
    Rub roast with flour on both sides and brown well on all sides. Place in roaster.
    Sprinkle with next 5 ingredients.
    Pat bread crumbs on roast.
    Tie in a cloth bag, celery, cloves, bay leaf and parsley.
    Place bag on roast.
    Arrange olives, carrots and mushrooms around roast.
    Pour in wine.
    Roast for 5 hours in 250\u00b0 oven.
    Makes 8 servings.
