Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
3 heaping Tbsp. flour
1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Put milk on in double boiler.
Mix egg yolks until there are no yellow specks.
In separate bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt, then mix this with egg yolks and small amount of cool water.
Add to milk and cook until thick.
Add coconut, vanilla and small slice of oleo.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Top with egg whites meringue. Place in oven and brown meringue.
Remove from oven and let cool before cutting.
