Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    vanilla wafers or sugar cookies
    1/2 c. pineapple, chopped and drained
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Cream butter and
    sugar;
    add
    eggs (well beaten), then add nuts and pineapple.
    (At this point, original recipe says: \"line a cracker box
    with
    wax paper\").
    Then pour 1/2 of this mixture over two
    layers
    of
    vanilla
    wafers or sugar cookies which have been placed in bottom of pan.
    Add another layer of cookies,
    then the
    remainder
    of
    the
    mixture.\tCover
    with another layer of cookies
    and
    let
    mold
    for
    48 hours in the refrigerator, then cover
    top\twith
    whipped cream.
    Slice and serve.
