Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 large can pineapple (in heavy syrup), drain (reserve liquid)
    1/3 c. butter, soft
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    3/4 c. liquid reserved from pineapple (if necessary add water to make 3/4 c.)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and lightly flour an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle brown sugar over bottom pan.
    Place pecans and pineapple on brown sugar.
