Bread Pudding(Heritage Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. light brown sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten
4 c. scalded milk, not boiled
2 Tbsp. softened butter
10 to 12 slices dry white bread
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
-
Beat eggs, add milk, sugar and vanilla and stir well together.
Add softened butter and mix with dry bread which has been broken into small pieces or cubed.
