Peach Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. to 1 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 egg
    6 c. peaches
    3 Tbsp. grenadine syrup
    butter
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Combine white sugar, flour, nutmeg and egg.
    Blend well.
    Add the peaches and toss to coat.
    Let stand for 5 minutes.
    Mix in grenadine syrup and pour mixture into uncooked pie crust (deep dish).
    Dot with butter, cover with top crust or lattice strips and bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    If served cold, top with whipped cream.
